Solvent is a dating app where financial reality is part of the profile. Members connect a bank account through Plaid, and Solvent turns that read-only data into a verified figure and a handful of spending signals — so the thing people usually lie about is the one thing they can't.
You log in to your bank inside Plaid's own secure flow. Solvent never sees or stores your username, password, or MFA codes — we receive a revocable access token, nothing more.
From balances and up to 12 months of transactions we compute a liquid-worth figure, a city percentile, and a set of merchant-level signals. Raw transaction rows are not shown to any other member.
Before the connection is made, Solvent sets out exactly which categories will appear on your profile and which never leave your bank. Nothing publishes unless you accept that disclosure, and you can withdraw it at any time by disconnecting.
Financial data access is provided by Plaid Inc. under Plaid's own privacy policy in addition to ours. Solvent requests the narrowest scopes that make the product work.
